• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
  8 oz egg noodles
  2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
