Salisbury Steak with Gravy

   Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
    1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

 Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Shape the mixture into oval patties.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Gravy:
1 large onion, sliced
2 cups beef broth
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
