Brown the ground beef by adding it to a pan and cooking it over medium-high heat. Get rid of any extra fat.
Combine the ground beef with the sauce.
Cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream should be well mixed in a bowl.
Coat the base of a 9×13 baking dish with the butter.
Toss in half of the noodles with the bakeware.
Before placing the noodles on top, spread the cheese mixture.
Top the cheese mixture with the remaining noodles in a second layer.
Mash the noodles and top with the meat and sauce.
Before serving, bake for 30 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
