3. Shred the beef with two forks and mix it with diced green chilis and chopped cilantro.

4. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Warm refried beans on the stove. Warm soft taco shells in the microwave until pliable.

5. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.

6. Assemble chimichangas by spreading beans, cheese, and beef mixture on taco shells, then fold.

7. Place chimichangas seam side down on the baking sheet and brush with oil or cooking spray.

8. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes, keeping an eye on the bottoms.

9. After baking, top chimichangas with cheese and broil for 2-5 minutes until bubbly.

Note: You can also customize the filling by adding additional ingredients such as bell peppers, jalapeños, or corn for added texture and flavor.
