Homemade German Chocolate Cake

What You Need To Make A Chocolate Cake
granulated sugar, 2 cups

1-and-a-half cups of all-purpose flour
3 and 3/4 cups of cocoa powder without sugar
125 milliliters of baking soda
1.50 teaspoons of baking soda
one teaspoon of salt
two big eggs
1/3 cup of buttermilk
1/2 cup of oil (canola or vegetable)
the flavor of vanilla, 2 tablespoons
1-quart pot of water that is just boiling
For the Frosting with Coconut and Pecans
“Light brown sugar”—half a cup
0.5 cups of sugar, granulated
half a cup of butter
Three ample egg yolks
3 and a half cups of evaporated milk
2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring
1/2 cup of pecans, chopped
1 cup of sweetened coconut flakes

Thirty-three cups of powdered sugar

German Chocolate Cake Recipe: A Homemade Approach
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Get two 8-or 9-inch circular baking pans greased. To make sure the cake comes out easily, I also prefer to cut a circular piece of wax or parchment paper to place at the bottom of the pan.
