1 lb ground pork (or chicken, turkey, or beef)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3-4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated

4-5 green onions, sliced

1 small head of cabbage, shredded

2-3 carrots, julienned or shredded

1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari (for a gluten-free version)

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (optional)

1 teaspoon Sriracha or chili sauce (adjust according to your spice preference)

Salt and pepper to taste
