Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
Gradually add the boiling water to the batter, mixing continuously until smooth.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove them to wire racks to cool completely.
Prepare the Strawberry Cheesecake Layer:
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Mix in the fresh strawberry puree and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
Assemble the Cheesecake:
Place one layer of the chocolate cake on a serving plate.
Spread a generous layer of the strawberry cheesecake mixture over the cake.
Place the second layer of chocolate cake on top.
Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining strawberry cheesecake mixture.
Garnish:
Decorate the cake with fresh strawberries.
Serve and Enjoy:
