These bars made of nuts and dried fruits are a great mix of crunchy nuts and sweet, chewy dried fruits. They are a perfect snack when you need a quick energy pick-me-up. These bars contain a variety of nuts and seeds that are rich in good fats and fiber. 50 grams of almonds (1.7 ounces)

50 grams of walnuts, which is equivalent to 1.7 ounces.

80 grams of peanuts with salt (2.8 ounces)

Instructions

Get the nuts and seeds ready.

Gently heat the almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds in a pan without oil over medium heat for around 5 minutes. Stir often until they turn golden and smell good. Allow them to cool.

Prepare the dried fruits.

Put the dates, apricots, cranberries, and raisins in a food processor. Blend until the mixture is sticky and well mixed.

Mix the ingredients.

Move the roasted nuts and seeds to the food processor with the dried fruit mix. Press the button a few more times until all the ingredients are well mixed and form a sticky mixture.

Create the bars.

Cover a baking dish or tray with parchment paper. Press the mixture firmly into the dish, spreading it out evenly to a thickness of about 1-2 cm.

Cool down and let it solidify.

Put the dish in the fridge for 1-2 hours, or until the mix is solid enough to be cut into bars.

Cut and serve.
