1. **Preparation of potatoes :**
– Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
– Wash and peel the potatoes (you can also leave the skin if you prefer).
– Cut the potatoes into quarters or similar sized cubes for a uniform cooking.
2. **Preparation of garlic and butter :**
– Peel the garlic cloves and finely minimize them.
– Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave.
– Mix minced garlic with melted butter.
3. **Seasoning :**
– Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl.
– Pour the melted butter and garlic mixture over the potatoes.
– Salt, pepper and add herbs from Provence if you wish.
– Mix well to coat all the potatoes.
4. **Baking :**
– Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer for uniform cooking.
– Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes, flipping the potatoes to half-cooked so that they brown evenly.
– Potatoes are ready when golden and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.
5. **Finishing :**
– Take the potatoes out of the oven and transfer them to a serving dish.
– Top with chopped fresh parsley if you wish.

– You can add other herbs or spices according to your taste, such as paprika or rosemary.
– For an even more gourmet touch, sprinkle some grated parmesan before serving.
